She's Under Construction

As a student of the 'living with intention' movement, I have been passive. What does that even mean, you might be wondering. I have been a loyal follower and consumer of any and all content that supports the lessons of this 'living with intention' movement, but I have been failing at implementing the teachings - the practices - in my own life.

What you are viewing now is a "TAKE 2" of the She’s Under Construction platform. Originally I created this page to explore the idea of reinvention. To take it a step further, reinvention at a more advanced age. I began visualizing my life - the life I was seeking - as a 40-something woman, successful, finally applying her skills in an industry that she was passionate about. I would make strides to realize that vision and then - does this sound familiar? - life would get in the way. All the while, I was a sponge to any and all multi-media about this idea of living with intention.

I finally realized that there is quite a bit of overlap in the space of living with intention and always reinventing yourself. It means you are always seeking new ways to improve, new ways to feed your soul, new adventures that might be in relationships, family, spirituality, career.

I am not a scholar. I do not have advanced degrees in psychology or in philosophy. I do not hold certifications in life coaching or counseling. I am curious. That's it. It is that simple. I am fascinated by people and their journeys. I am drawn to people that inspire me.

Let's find out together what living with intention, together with reinvention, means for you. The She’s Under Construction platform is meant to serve us in a journey - to help you discover ways to live intentionally and to explore and grow outside of your comfort zone.  

 

The journey is not meant to be made alone.
